What the award covers
Four things, and nothing hidden.
Your time
$12,000, paid in three instalments, in your own currency where we can manage it.
A mentor
A practitioner in your discipline, matched by the panel, meets you every second week.
Materials and travel
You spend the money how you like, including on paper, studio hire, flights or a borrowed shed.
A showing
In September we publish a page for your project and help you share it, in whatever form suits the work.
Study towards a degree or any other qualification.
Projects that are already finished and need only a publisher or a venue.
Work for a company, a client or a political campaign.
Equipment you would keep for years, such as a car or a computer.
